Po\u00e7o do Inferno<\/strong><\/p>\n

Po\u00e7o do Inferno, as its name implies, is a well, or a small lagoon in the heart of Serra da Estrela. Resulting from a waterfall about 10 meters high, formed by the waters of the Leandres stream.<\/p>\n

Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sculpture, more than 7 meters high, located in Cov\u00e3o do Boi, in the heart of Serra da Estrela, is carved in low relief, in the rock, patron saint of Shepherds, inaugurated in 1946.<\/p>\n

Serra da Estrela<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its highest point, with 1993 meters of altitude and called Tower, makes it he highest mountain in mainland Portugal.<\/p>\n

Unhais da Serra<\/strong><\/p>\n

The village of Unhais da Serra, located at an altitude of 650 meters, is located in a valley of glacial origin, where the stream of Unhais flows. Here you can do a river beach as well as canoeing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Outdoor Urban Art Murals<\/strong>
\nStarting in the city center, take a guided tour of the historic center and discover an open-air museum with more than 20 urban art paintings that you can find around a corner.<\/p>\n

Cheese Museum<\/strong>
\nIn a small village, you will find the interesting Cheese Museum. This museum tells the story of docile sheep, of wise shepherds who have inhabited the mountains since the beginning.<\/p>\n

Wool Museum<\/strong>
\n\u201cThe threads of the past weaving the future\u201d is the motto of the Wool Museum, also known as MUSLAN, which has in its custody one of the oldest industries, which began by asserting itself as a pure act of survival of the human species.<\/p>\n

Ribeira da Carpinteira Bridge<\/strong>
\nThe bridge over the Vale da Carpinteira is the result of a mobility plan by the Municipality of Covilh\u00e3 to facilitate pedestrian circulation between the city center and the Penedos Altos area.<\/p>\n

St. Mary Church<\/strong>
